Welcome to Charly's RAINBOWS AND CHECKERS CONTEST !!
Today I received the "exclusive" badges I'm offering as a winning prize !
I posted a picture ! Check it out

I'm already starting to get entries, when I have some of them, I'll make a special update !

Rainbows and Checkers Contest [link]

:: THEME ::

As said in the title : rainbows and checkers.
You have to make an illustration showing rainbows and checkers in any ways you like !
They just have to be on the picture !
You are quite free to represent them the way you like it.
Characters, landscape, abstract ... everything is welcome !

:: MEDIA ::

You may use whatever media you like, but you have to make a drawing !
No photographies, no photo-manipulations.
You can take a picture of your art if it's traditionnal !
Your illustration HAS TO BE in COLORS please !

:: RESTRICTIONS ::

NO FANART please ! (not even my characters please)
But you can draw your own original character if you like.
NO sex, NO violence, NO drugs
You drawing doesn't have to be gay-themed (it's no forbidden either)
Your illustration HAS to be in colors please
NO REPOST ! Only NEW pictures please !
Every contestant can post up to TWO entries.
As the deadline is quite long, you can update and/or change your entries, for that, just send a note.
In the end, only TWO entries per contestant must be in.

:: Date ::

The contest starts now, on thursday december 18th 2008 at 7.00 PM GMT and closes on thursday february 18th 2009 at 7.00 PM GMT.
The contest will last exactly 2 months, so the dates won't be changed !

::Judging::

For judging, the jury will look originality, art qualities, compostion, colors etc etc !
Your art can be funny, magical, dreamy, romantic ...

Post your art on your account and send me a note with a link to your art.
The entries will be updated as often as possible and shown on my journal during the contest.

I have a question, I hope it dosen't sound stupid but
what are exactly cheekers? cute chibi faces with pinky cheeks? or just sweet stuff like candy, cookies and kittens ?

I guess any happy 'n colourful picture will do anyways x)
